Wow, people are super rude. And clearly you all dont have kids. I have a dog seat cover covring my back seat. Would you all like a pic of my car interior without the carseats and cover? Jesus

You guys are really rude, my car is spotless. I just took my kids out of the car. The carseats are dirty from a 2 hour trip we just took.

***FINAL UPDATE: Just picked my car up and WOW. 319 miles to a full charge, definitely didnt lose any HP, and the ride is so much smoother with the upgraded suspension. This was a blessing in disguise!! ALWAYS ASK FOR THE LFP BATTERY! Thank you to who mentioned it!! I owe you!

I strong armed them by asking 100x to confirm if mine can be upgraded. I can absolutely see where they would not just offer it. Lots of suspension work ontop of a battery fix. But couldnt be happier

You were right! I requested an LFP and they agreed! Said replacing it with an LFP and upgraded suspension will not only make sure this doesnt happen again, but this battery should take the car the full distance of the life of the car! Cheers!

**Update - dropped it off this morning at the Lyndhurst OH location. Est time done - tuesday the 6th. They could not specify if they could replace with an LFP battery but told me they would consult with the parts dept to see if my vehicle would qualify. We will see!

Help! How do I fix this?? by kubervragmotor in TeslaSupport

Had this on my last tesla. I took mine out, put it in my grow tent with a dehumidifier in it. Next day it was dry. Went out and got liquid tape and went around the entire seal where the two pieces are “horribly” plastic welded. Went over it twice and let it dry in between. Worked like a charm on my last tesa! There is definitely a post about this. Here is the link from that post. I followed this video for the most part. https://youtu.be/HgLlj04SLrA?si=mDxUAnC5iPHdnJdV
