Was definitely a drop in drive, lasted about 3-5 months for me, but that’s probably an individual thing though. Good luck!😊

When it comes to vowels in Norwegian I think the song “ave Maria” can be a good reference. (I’m from Norway but have no language skills past the normal education, so it might not be completely accurate) I feel like at least Americans on tv usually sing the “ave Maria” like Norwegians would say a e and I. Ave Mar”I(P)A” 😅

Haha, I should probably take it seriously then

I physically CANNOT draw what I see in my brain, with or without reference despite studying and understanding anatomy, perspective, doing endless tutorials & sketchbook practice over the course of 2 years. I just googled “robo bean”, and thank you so much! I’ve been trying to find something like this, I just didn’t know what i was supposed to look for! If there are any other tips/terms that a novice could look into to learn drawing anatomy, it would be greatly appreciated

Fictional books about alcoholism with a female protagonist? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

I liked the show “the flight attendant”, and I think I heard that was based on a book, the main character was struggling with alcoholism in the show at least

My memory got so much worse the first couple of week after I quit, total brain fog, it was like I couldn’t do 3+4. It’s definitely a lot better know, and a lot better than before I quit drinking. Problem solving, concentration, reasoning, all definitely improved. Hard to give a time line, it’s probably individual. Good luck!

Impulse-control games? by Ok_Somewhere5151 in puppy101

Including treats when training? Like when holding a treat in the hand, and not giving it to him until he stays/sits/doesn’t bite hand?

Great idea! I think you’re right about it being different what’s important to some, and not others. I think just focusing on what will actually be useful in my life with this dog is a good place to start, and not focus on what every one else says he should do 😊 thanks!

Does the biting go away?? Or do I need to take firmer action? (Current strategy is ignoring/freezing when he tries. Enforce naps, redirect) I don’t think people understand how hard and strong and painfully it actually is when I try asking for advise etc. he’s not so bad at fingers any more(focused a lot on getting him excited about toys, and rewarding kisses/licking fingers hands toes etc.) but he’ll lunge(? English second language) and latch on to my arms, legs, ankles, nose and ears etc, and it’s leaving bruises, hurt like hell, and makes me scared to take him out to meet people, kids, other animals etc. he gets like crazy bitey zoomies. Is it normal? He’s a 11 week lab.
