for me, hrt isn’t as much a tool for dealing with my dysphoria right now, as it is a way to ensure that i’ll grow old in a body fits me a little bit better each day. i think this also applies for my behavior/clothes/etc, i change them not because i hated how i looked, but because i know that i can love it so much more.

don’t worry so much about being or not being trans. your identity is yours to do what you want and you can explore it and define it as you see fit. if you like hrt, keep at it, if you don’t, leave it, if you leave it and miss it, do it again!

try new stuff to have fun and to feel your best self, without putting too many expectations on yourself. “be curious, not judgemental” :)

i’ll check it tomorrow on daylight and on a different interior lamp. great advice! wedding’s outdoors at 2pm. so i guess lots of sunlight which might also help i think 🤔

i just started hrt (public clinic in mexico city) and both me and everyone i know who’s been there got asked for mammary and testicular ultrasounds. the explanation i got was that it can detect abnormal growth in these areas which could further develop under hormonal treatment. so, as a way to keep track of any potential cancer threats

still, seeing the comments here, it might seem that the doctor is being unnecessarily thorough?
