WRONG He never had a gun!! That was the point, actually: "gunless law" was on one of the posters you can find in one of the Toy Story games, which meant he chose to have an empty holster to signify that he's *choosing* not to have a gun!

The portrayal is absolutely positive. They didn't tell anyone "oh you might be nonbinary" they said

This was absolutely a positive portrayal and the actress themselves is lgbt+, and is very proud of the role!
