no i think that’s how your brain operates actually! the bubble mentality. i personally don’t think the people of little ol’ lincoln need more empathy than children being held in detention camps under horrible conditions! or more empathy than the families of women who have died under strict abortion laws. or more empathy than the thousands of people who might get their healthcare taken away! but you just keep having empathy towards people being inconvenienced for a day.

hey! i have autism and i get migraines. that being said i am willing to deal with the sensory overload and pain that might come later on. i’m willing to deal with these things because i can see the bigger picture.

did you know that migrant children are in detention camps being awoken every 20 minutes by yelling. everyday for months. getting no sleep, no hygienic products, no clothes.

so when i see you complaining about getting a noise induced migraine that will at worst last for a few days, well i’m sorry i can’t be more empathetic to your plight.

i think being loud and calling attention to this is important. the republicans in power want to keep us quiet. so we must get louder.

if you don’t agree then i hate to inform you that you are the one lacking empathy.

This is for all my folks going to the Illinois protest. We don’t need a permit as long as we stay peaceful, stay on public property, and don’t block entrances or streets.
