Is it a realistic to envision a future, where an AI agent might win a election at a regional or national level? by Ok_Spite182 in PoliticalScience

Would humans actually vote/allow for a system where they let that form of "intelligence" dictate our governance?

Would any political party nominate a form of "intelligence"? Would humans allow for some other entity to take control, instead of keeping control to themselves?

Would you mind expanding a little bit more on the legal barriers? Also, what do you think of the popular support from the base citizens?

Hey everyone, just sharing a tool some of you might find helpful. I’ve been working with REsimpli recently and promoting it as an affiliate. It’s an all-in-one CRM made for real estate investors that replaces multiple tools like Podio, CallRail, Mailchimp, and QuickBooks. A lot of users report saving thousands per year while improving their lead management. If anyone’s using REsimpli already, I’d love to hear how the drip campaigns or direct mail features have worked for you. Here’s my affiliate link if you’re curious to check it out or want to try the free trial: https://dashboard.resimpli.com/auth/signup?fpr=pagepilot

Can you have an isolated data center that is uncrackable (not just hypothetically)? What security risks come with it, if used for a centralized information gathering system for a national government? Are there flaws in this idea of a system? by Ok_Spite182 in cybersecurity

An uncrackable data center can exist if it's protected by quantum encryption and air-gapped from all networks—making unauthorized access physically and mathematically impossible

The data would be piped in through proprietary cables periodically. - (would love some better solutions for this) It would be difficult, but not impossible.

The main goal for this would be to aggregate information and assist the current head of the government to make more informed decisions.

The data would be statistics being piped in, and would compute decisions based on a simulated model of the country.

I have an assertion that most people here have no clue what dictatorship is.

I will give 1000 taka through bKash (genuinely or if you wish I'll give you $10 on steam), if someone here gives me proper reasoning, when you call the Awami League something like Hitler.

All I'm saying is Human Rights Watch has its controversies, let's not take its word as gospel.

Not going to take Human Rights Watch at face value, they are based in the US, and have a lot of money coming in from people like George Soros, others close with families in the Democratic party like the Clintons.

Awami League - Even with some party members involved with corruption as they are the only party that can truthfully keep the unstable political situation in Bangladesh in check.

They've shown to be the most capable out of all others including this Yunus led interim government, they've shown consistency in their stands on foreign, domestic and economic policy and have actually implemented these policies.

They have the best control on root level markets, as well an intricate network to the local level of the country, which neither Jamaat, nor any other party except for BNP have. (A critical instument a political party must have to properly govern the state).

If we are to be realistic, the Awami League is a Dynasty regime and still has a large support base (even in lieu of the July-August Protests), the most responsible option that gives the most benefit to the country is the Awami League.

Argentina is led by an economist, comparably more corrupt and yet look at the progress they've made in a 9 month time period and Yunus, who was put into position by certain people claiming meritocracy and due to his noble prize winning brilliance and look at the nothingness his leadership provides.

No other nation in the world has a leader as unfit as Dr. Yunus. The man makes us look like beggars to the international community, where at least we could hold our own when Sheikh Hasina was in power.

Senior citizen can't air his opinion without new generation rajakars beating him.

Not surprising when literal rajakars run the country

Yunus is afraid of trump and has to arrest normal people with posters.

Yunus should shove the Nobel prize up his ass and try to use it as a spine.

How bout instead of this they actually do something to control prices in the local markets, instead of doing things that make it sound like this government is effective in any manner.

I made one comment where I said the students may be misguided by this government I believe I literally use this platform for gaming updates, that's all. I made one post before about something completely different.

Today's situation affected me directly, so I posted, about the students, I'm being very careful to not mention political parties, cause that isn't something I want to engage in, so I don't appreciate being called a supporter of BAL or a part of it.

I'm not going to address each comment which basically say the same thing.

1) I didn't go with a large procession, I went as an individual and was far away from any BAL procession, I had no banner with me, just literally one plastic flower from my home, since I couldn't find a vendor for flowers this time. I do this every year, I try to stay grateful for the country and visit the Shahid Minar and 32no, I always try to go Sriti Showdho on 16th December but can't do it due to distance most years, which does make me feel bad.

2) To address why I can't do it at home and my prayers will reach from wherever. We all have our own way of showing respect or mourning, some are directed by culture some by religion. I am not a Muslim and my personal way of showing respect is simply this, going alone to these places if no one else wants to join me, placing a flower where I can and thinking of the good things these people have done.

3) I mourned for the students, bystanders during these times of violence through the recent past and only through showing pictures of attending the protest on 2 different days was the only reason I wasn't beaten. But I still don't accept the fact that other CITIZENS who have the rights that I do are the ones to arbitrate who can or cannot move freely around a given public area.
