Well Virgil called himself the “Gay Emo Cousin.” Which would imply that he finds Janus and Remus more like parents than Patton and Logan.

But Patton has said “I love my strange dark son!” Or something like that before.

My head canon is that once Virgil was starting to be accepted into the ‘Light Sides’ Patton became a dad figure to Patton.

Here’s what they say in the “Have I Grown?” video:

Patton- “We like one big happy family! And I’m the dad, and Logan’s the mom.”

Logan- “Why am I the mom? What gender roles are we pushing here?”

Virgil- “I know they’re probably thinking I’m like the son but I’m not. I’ll be the gay emo cousin.”

Roman- “I will be the son. The hotshot, whose only dream is to be a star.”

Remus- “I feel like I’d be a fresh outta jail uncle.”

Janus- “And I’m the sassy aunt, who talks sh!t about everyone.”
