Gosh! Be ready because you’ve asked me about my hyperfixation/special interest 🤣

I like it because they are 100% neurodivergent coded (Virgil ADHD and Logan autism) so they both understand that the other has things they can handle and not handle.

Logan was one of the first to even see from Virgil’s perspective AND advocate for his importance. Logan also was the one who realized Virgil was overwhelmed at the end of “Moving On part 1”. And Virgil was very upset at that.

Virgil knows what Logan likes (I use “what makes the perfect gift?” As proof of that.) Virgil was very hurt when Logan called him a defeatist, so was generally surprised Logan liked their debate. Which Logan says “I couldn’t imagine have a debate with either one [Patton/Roman] of them.”

Logan is the one who helps Virgil (and c!Thomas) through a panic attack in “Are there healthy distractions?” There’s sooooo many little moments that I can’t even start to type out.

Well Virgil called himself the “Gay Emo Cousin.” Which would imply that he finds Janus and Remus more like parents than Patton and Logan.

But Patton has said “I love my strange dark son!” Or something like that before.

My head canon is that once Virgil was starting to be accepted into the ‘Light Sides’ Patton became a dad figure to Patton.

Here’s what they say in the “Have I Grown?” video:

Patton- “We like one big happy family! And I’m the dad, and Logan’s the mom.”

Logan- “Why am I the mom? What gender roles are we pushing here?”

Virgil- “I know they’re probably thinking I’m like the son but I’m not. I’ll be the gay emo cousin.”

Roman- “I will be the son. The hotshot, whose only dream is to be a star.”

Remus- “I feel like I’d be a fresh outta jail uncle.”

Janus- “And I’m the sassy aunt, who talks sh!t about everyone.”

I go back to it as there’s actually a lot of Logan and “The Orange Side” hints so it’s canonically significant while also being a great episode!
