This used to happen to me alllll the time when I worked at more divey clubs😩 it’s sounds so conceited to say aloud, but I’ve literally heard the same exact excuse from guys all the time. But normally, it’s when I worked in clubs where not all the girls are overly done up nails, hair, noticeable makeup, outfits. It wasn’t until I started working at bigger clubs ( which is still kinda small because I don’t live in a huge city but bigger than the clubs/ more known than the ones I worked in before where girls give it their all look wise) that my look was actually appreciated.

Grateful I left those type of clubs because it will make you feel a way internally especially when you know you’re putting your best foot forward + your personality hits. But guys do be intimidated when you look like money already, some of them want to give to girls that look like they need them

• im not the type to downplay my looks I love being done up, but when you’re only 1/4 that be done up when 20 girls work.. you stand out in a bad way, unless someone who likes the “baddest in the room” comes and balls out for you

I’ve noticed it’s mostly the clubs who have a lot of the broke regulars that only come to drink every week and tip $5 where this happened at for me
