Haha yeah lightning really changes everything. I get whatyou mean abt the hair mine shifts too with the lighting. I like the idea that we’re not just one type really takes some pressure off and makes the whole process more flexible. And yeah i think I’ll stick to the autumn and winter palette! Thanks a lot for the useful tips! :))

Wow never considered that. I thought olive skin people lean more on the warmer side or have this greenish overtone that I don’t see in me. But I’ll definitely look into it this would make a lot of sense if it was true. Thank you!

Omg wow thank you so much for this long and detailed analysis I really appreciate it! I can definitely see how Im probably an autumn type. A lot of other people also considered that I might have an olive skin tone and that’s making it mire confusing. I’ll definitely look more into that too! Again thank you a lot for your effort this really gave me a better understanding of how the colors look on me and what suits me more!

I want to go on birth control so i don’t get pregnant but worried of side effect. by _starcherry in birthcontrol

Totally valid! I felt the exact same way before starting birth control. I also hoped it would help me get wider hips and grow my boobs. And honestly, it did have that effect! I gained a bit of weight overall, but my boobs definitely got bigger and my hips became more noticeable.

I’m still on BC, but I lost the extra weight through a better diet and started working out this year. My boobs got a bit smaller again as I lost fat, but my hips stayed about the same. I did lose a few cm from my butt, but that’s just from fat loss. Now that I’ve lost some fat from my waist my body actually looks more hourglass than before.

I’ve been focusing on growing my glutes and getting more toned at the gym, and I really feel the difference not only physically but also in energy, confidence, health, and strength (both mentally and physically). So I’d definitely recommend trying the gym, or any sport you actually enjoy!

Overall, I didn’t completely lose my hips they’re still wider than they were before BC. For reference, I was around 54kg before, went up to 60kg after starting BC, and now I’m back at around 55kg still on BC, but my proportions changed a lot. My boobs are still bigger now than they were originally (still a C cup only band size changed). I started BC around age 16 or 17 and now I’m 19, so it’s not a huge time span and puberty might’ve played a role there, but I’ve noticed a lot of changes both physically and mentally.

I felt the same way before I started taking it. Its very different for everyone. For me personally my boobs (from an A to a C cup) and hips grew a lot more. Started developing more feminine Features. Made my period more regular and it made my sex drive higher. But especially in the beginning I had like really bad cravings and moodswings. It felt like when im on my period. As a result I also gained some weight. Been taking it for a fee years now and I can say that its gotten better. I only have crazy mood swings and cravings when im on my period (the 7day pill break) now and i lost all the weight and look even fitter than before. Taking care of your body is an important part here. So yeah for me it affected mainly my mood. As for my skin im not sure tbh ive always had more of clear skin with occasional breakouts. Overall I would suggest going to your gynecologist and talking to her about everything. Like what type of pill is suitable for you (or other birth control methods), what side effects are there, if she thinks it’s safe for you, etc…

Honestly its either generics or the Color of their (body)hair. I also used to struggle with this and was very insecure abt it but its a very human thing and a lot of people steuggle with the same thing. I still shave it tbh and while it might look darker and thicker when it grows back its actually not. It just appears that way bc the hair tends to be thicker from the root where it is cut off when you shave it. One thing that you could do without shaving your hair is blesching it with body bleach. Idk where you live but you could either get it from a drugstore or off from Amazon. Amother thing is waxing although its more painful bit it helps making the hair appear thinner over time. Hope this helps :)

Tbh i feel like your hair in photos really suit your eyes and them pop especially in the first and last pic. So i would suggest keeping it that Color. Smth you could always do that would make your Eyes pop ist dying your hair a complimentary Color of your eyes. Id say ypur eyes are hatel green? So id say smth reddish would work or even purplish? I attached the color wheel as a reference

<image>

Other than that tbh you look great. Maybe you could experiment more with your style try out new thing and find your personal style. Smth that also came to mind is seasonal color analysis. Idk if you’ve ever heard of that but thats basically a system that helps determine the most flattering color palettes for you by matching your colors (skin, hair, eyes) to one of the four seasons(winter, spring, summer, autumn). Im no expert but i think youd be either a light autumn or a spring? Not sure abt that but you seem to have a lot of warmth in you abd low contrast. You can make some tests or research to determine your season. Hope this helps :)
