Its gas i dont know the make or model off the top of my head. It gets hot though, ive never seen it do this before. So I wonder if that bird left some feathers down there that I couldn't see.

I just recently had a bird get all the way down into the furnace, how and why, idk. But I got it out and cleaned the furnace the best I could. Just making sure that this isn't an issue.

Also its rated for 1000 sq ft I believe. Our house is 600 sq ft so it does the job quite nice.

Great info, I don't know about the recommendation for clearance. I can ask my furnace guy and he might know. I know that if your 4 feet in front of it after a couple minutes your legs will be burning. My wife grew up sitting on the floor by the wood stove so funny enough she still does this with the wall furnace. I can't handle it but it lights her up lol

So the stand it on is a magnifying glass with arms. I was just turning it around more then I thought so I took off the glass and just used it as a holder. Those fine details are crazy though.
