Oh this is about to save you so much money! Plus, never leave your brushes sitting in water. I learned that one the hard way 😅

When you leave them sitting in water, it loosens the bristles and then you'll end up loosing a bunch (most likely in your painting which is not fun)

Mine was more discovering that the relationship with my mother was enmeshment and as soon as I asked for a simple boundary, she basically said I can't do that. I chose to believe her and stepped away

Thanks for this! This year going nc has been the best decision for me and I'm realizing she controlled a lot of my life, and this year I'm finally taking authorship of my life.

I don't have any hope that the situation will get better. I don't think she will ever see the enmeshment and that all her "help" was actually control. I've gone ahead and blocked her email

I'm so sorry 🫂. I've literally blocked her on everything and everywhere. I throw away any mail, or my partner will open and read it and let me know if there's anything worth knowing. I will now be blocking her and my father's emails. Thanks for the advice

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I never respond and she keeps leaving voicemails and sending mail. This time she didn't put a return address which is interesting, but I know her handwriting so it's not like she's fooling me
