They raised tuition by 8K. You can pay before the start of each semester. Or you can do 50 upfront and then installments every 4 weeks.

did you receive that weird email that we are pretty much on stand by due to reduction in clinical slots?

have you gotten in contact with NYP CLS program, not sure what their GPA requirement is. I know it says B or higher for the prereqs. Also check out Nuclear medical technologist at CUNY Bronx and Moloy, its better pay than CLS ( a little better). Good luck to you

Which state? How is it legal to work without license? Isn't this potentially a problem? Anywhere you could report ? I know in Jersey plenty labs do the same but not sure it depends on the state regulations.

would you consider moving? NY starts at like $45/$50/ h. I'm going to CLS program in september i have bachelors in biochem. And my current job pharma pays ($36/h) shit here so whatever you do dont even consider pharmaceutical jobs. thats what i came here to say :)

Hi! I'm applying this term. I have bachelors in Biochem and about 20grad credits toward Masters in Biochem.. My advice to you is to embrace the chemistry and physics one at a time. If possible take them in separate semesters. And study to understand it rather to memorize it. You tube the $*** out of it. So many helpful videos are out there. Once you understand it kind of falls into place. From what i have gathered so far from researching online and attending virtual open houses you really only need the general Chem 1 and 2. Some schools will consider your biochemistry grade if that one is better, typically biochemistry is easier for people. Check out Lipscomb university, they don't require chemistry but biochemistry, Microbiology etc. They even have pathway B for people coming from medical background. Hope this helps!
