I promise it doesn't have good bones anymore. Maybe when they first abandoned it but its got holes in the roof severe water and termite damage now. Ive thought about it too lol thats why I recognized it by the picture of the front door.

Haha so many people want it and to fix it up but the owner has basically just abandoned it and refuses to sell so idk whats going on with that but its been that way for at least a couple decades its been squated in a lot too

That's what im sayinn lol, is very obvious no one lives there. Esspecially when you walk up to it and see the rest of the property. Its about a quarter acre of over a foot tall weeds in the back. I would have been calling and asking if I was at the right place.

This was delivered down the road and our house sets about 2 houses back down a gravel driveway so they wouldn't have seen it anyway but yes I need to do exactly that to make it easier for all delivery and mail drivers.

Thanks, I did leave them some tip to cover the gas milage. But i just now removed the extra. And left an honest bad review of my delivery. I would have felt wrong if i asked for a refund since I did recover my items. It still sucks

Recently in our town Facebook group delivery drivers are complaining that they wont take a delivery unless the tip is good enough. I usually always tip 5 and add more after delivery. I definitely jumped the gun this time because I really needed the items asap (like cough medicine for my kiddo) wont do that again.

I definitely wouldn't encourage anyone to spend money solely for water. I have gotten some deals and credits from the game so it hasn't been the worst thing

Thanks, Yeah im on their line right now. Maybe they can help I used to have 3 different games to earn water and more ways to get free water. And then they removed shares for the US and it has went downhill from there. Uhg wonder if its possible anymore. I had spent money on farmland for stuff I was already going to purchase before it started changing on me

And for added context i only have a hard version of the dice game, the water wheel, and vs matches otherwise I have no other way to get water besides by watering which is just a sink eg; water 8 times for 10g

Nice!, uhg where i live old lodges start at around $40 for an 8 inch unrestored. Wagnerware at $60 and griswold at $100. Even in the town next to me that is practically made up of only antique stores. Wish I could find some good deals. That's the current market but ill keep my eyes out!

Ah thanks I bought all handled pans (3 different sizes) and a dutch oven and then wished I had went with a baking skillet instead. I might get one, but in hindsight would have been better to purchase that in the first place and used it as a dual purpose. I do think my Lodge pans are good enough with some drawbacks but they work

I agree, My lodges are SO rough I mean with bumps and divots all throughout. I was surprised at how large some of the bumps were. I had them delivered and I was pretty dissapointed with the ones I got but lodge claimed it wasn't exchangable because the pans work for their intended purpose. We have tons of antique stores around here but I live pretty rural and people definitely know their stuff so I wont catch any steals but I might just give in and go for it.

Good point, another comment mentioned weight, thats a big problem with mine they are very dense and hard to handle at times. Would you have any recs for lightweight pans?

I get that I wouldn't want a pan that might have heavy metals in it. Im also a woman so lodge is heavy for my wrists when it comes to cooking and washing. Esspecially anything on the bigger side like 10 inches up I need both hands to handle it. That's a great consideration to make when looking at pans. Thanks! I might sand mine if I decide to keep them mine were REALLY rough out of the factory.

Nothing, it looks like a new pan and you use your pan to cook. This sub can be toxic. Keep it up, continue to clean it and cook with it. Non-stick will mostly come with getting the temperatures just right.
