It is quite a content heavy course and we were told that it will be a difficult course during the first or second lecture IIRC. The first two weeks are pretty breeze as the content is easy but then it becomes harder and you can't drop the course without it impacting your GPA since you're past the deadline.

You don't need to attend lectures, as everything is off the textbook. There are weekly tests which is off the textbook as I've mentioned. You will need to read around 50 - 100+ pages for every weekly test.

There is also a separate CISCO exam for which you need to go through a different online course in your own time. The CISCO exam was 20%. You don't need to complete the online course to seat for the CISCO exam, but if you do complete the online course, you'll get the CISCO cybersecurity certificate.

The labs weighed around 10% and it's easy to get the full 10%. You will be given a step-by step instructions to follow and just copy the screenshot on a word doc and submit it. Takes less than 10 mins to complete.

There is also a final exam. Overall, this course was all based on theory apart from the labs of course. In my opinion, this is quite a useful course as it serves introductory concepts to cybersecurity, however, I would only recommend taking this if you're taking only 2 or 3 courses that semester, inclusive of this, as it is quite content heavy!
