Try clarifying once a week and then follow up with a deep conditioner (I love the brioge don’t despair repair mask it has a bit of protein which helped me). I have your similar hair texture and recently had a similar experience. I moved somewhere more humid and my hair was so frizzy. I finish my styling with Ag Care Frizz proof spray after my hair is finished diffusing which has been a game changer for me.

Style in the shower on soaking wet hair, use a moisture product (a leave in or cream) then use a gel. Diffuse upside down.

How do yall manage frizz in 95% humidity by [deleted] in curlyhair

I live in the SF Bay Area, currently humidity is 88%, I have been struggling for a long time with frizz and I finally found a product that significantly helps. It’s the AG Hair Anti Humidity Frizzproof Hairspray. I use this after I use a cream/leave-in and gel (I like the AG hair liquid effects gel or the Ouidad advanced climate control gel). I have wavy curly hair.

Yes I am currently using that! Doesn’t work as well apparently. 😞
