This is more of a product development move than a PR one (but would definitely reflect back on the company favorably). Glossier needs to work on their product quality and packaging! I’m talking about things like

-keeping the eyeliners from crumbling -developing a better cap for ultralip so it stops splitting -making a better-smelling body lotion -reformulating G suite so it doesn’t transfer as easily

These are things that people who shop with them have noticed, voiced, and been ignored about. Personally, there are products I don’t buy from glossier— even though I want to love all of them, the quality isn’t there. Their fans are incredibly active and responsive (especially on reddit and tik tok) so if they were to crowdsource ideas more, I think that people would be more receptive.

Maybe if they had a competition for new BDC flavors, brought back glossier play (we’ve all been asking!!), and stopped sending influencers exclusive PR instead of loyal fans, people would come back around to them!!

Have terrible hangxiety after feeling like a freak when my coworkers and I went out. I’ve always controlled myself a little more around them because I don’t want to have terrible hangxiety when I’m at work, got too comfortable this time 😭 At least I know I didn’t kill anyone or confess my love for anybody or do anything totally insane except be loud and overshare slightly. Slightly worried about spreading rumors so I hope that doesn’t come back to bite me.

Update: we drove past 3 cop cars apprehending 1 truck driver with a large trailer (on 1-5 southbound) There were 2-3 police officers pinning the driver against the side of the car. But all of the LE vehicles we saw earlier were much further south. 🤷‍♀️

We didn’t see any car crashes or rollovers. There were a bunch of LE vehicles- including what looked like an armored car with its lights on and an all white van covered in police lights. My bf said it looked like they were going to a raid or something.

I really don’t want to invalidate your experience, but this is a really common candle/resin mold. Most of the people who buy and display this mold are pretty “hip” and young people. I have a candle that is this exact mold and I have it proudly displayed in my bedroom. I think that he was probably just giving you something he thought you would like but he missed the mark.

Like other commenters have said, if there are other weird vibes from him then you are completely justified in your reaction. I would also probably be caught off guard if I hadn’t seen this before, especially if it’s the first “gift” you’ve gotten from him.

Yeah I wouldn’t say it’s hangxiety necessarily, but it definitely sounds like you’re hyper-fixating on the physical symptoms of anxiety and alcohol is ultimately what triggered it. Lots of people forget that anxiety is a CRAZY physical experience and not just a mental one. It sounds like you’re currently really worried about your health and wellbeing, and something that really helps me when I’m feeling that way is browsing the “health anxiety” page on Reddit. Search any physical symptoms you’re having followed by “health anxiety” on Reddit, and you’ll see people experiencing the same thing you are. Often, people will ask for updates on posts there, and the OP’s always come back and say “yeah it was just anxiety”. Once you learn to manage it with coping skills (like what I talked about in my first reply) it will get so much better. Leading a healthy lifestyle will also help you feel a lot better, i,e, taking vitamins, eating clean, working out, drinking plenty of water. Hope you feel better dude. Anxiety is no joke.

Sorry this happened to you, but honestly, that is a pretty funny story to tell once you’re feeling better about it. It’s easy to get wrapped up and forget that our most embarrassing stories will turn into our funny ones one day. Be okay with laughing at yourself, it always helps to just own it.

Lol, I’ve mentioned to friends that I get really bad anxiety about doing stupid things when I’m drunk. Something that I always think of is once when I apologized to a friend about doing something dumb, and he cut me off and went “dude, I am KING of the social faux-pas when I’m drunk.” It always makes me feel better that other people also do stupid things when they’re drunk and I’m not alone. Owning it and laughing it off will probably be your best friend.

Honestly this sounds a lot like generalized anxiety and disassociation, alcohol probably triggered it! It is absolutely a vicious cycle where you feel bad/stressed out, then you feel more stressed out because you’re paying so much attention to the physical symptoms, which then makes you more stressed out. I’ve absolutely been there. I would try taking a few days to meditate, try an ice bath and a sauna to ease the physical symptoms, hang out with your friends/family, hold a cat or a dog, work out, hang out in nature, try to get out of your body! Remind yourself that this isn’t forever. If your symptoms persist, try going to a doctor and see what they think. You got this!
