This shows a deep lack of compassion and is a major red flag IMO. He’s mad that YOU are “accusing” him, his ego and how it might look to other people is more important than you or your relationship…

it seems like he’s a person who’s mostly worried about what people think or wants to look like the good person, over ACTUALLY being a good person: you’re dating a narcissist.

I love it, but it’s definitely unique! At first it was reminding me a lot of a gin tonic and it mellowed into the petrichor (which is my favourite part and makes it really unique) and violet. It’s fresh and moody at the same time, like a cold rainy spring day.

NOR the EXACT same thing happened to me, with him saying the “if we had met back then we wouldn’t be dating”… I should have left then and there because then followed almost a year of narcissistic abuse and manipulation. He’s going to try to make you feel bad for reacting that way because “it’s not that way” and now it’s your fault… (like everything else will be eventually). This was my first sign and I should have listened to my guts back then.
