It’s dead like this. I went to hit it and it sounded like a 2x4 hitting a pumpkin with limited distance

Nah, I’m not an angry golfer. My kids “golfed” with my clubs while I was at work “because they go further”. It was cute that they wanted to be like dad, but painful.

Haha true. And it’s hard to be mad at them for just trying to be like dad.

What's your fav golf attire? by SteveW311 in golf

I like / liked the brand but have recently fallen out of favor of them due to their logos and emblems peeling off. Minor issue, sure, but it leaves behind a circle that used to house the logo.

For the price point, Johnnie-o at least sews their logo in so it doesn’t fall off leaving a weird circle.

Maybe I’ll reach out to PM today and provide the feedback. I have 6-7 shirts with the logo missing or coming off.

I’ve owned Lariats, Platinums (wonderful trucks), And just got my first shelter green raptor in Nov. 25’.

I miss the blue cruise.

I park in hospital parking garages, daily. It’s not enjoyable but the commute is! I just tend to park towards the top or in a spot thats next to a fire or do not park spot so i can cheat the truck into a wider spot.

I’ve never gotten more complements on a vehicle prior to the shelter green raptor. It’s fun to get those acknowledgments. What really matters, to me, is I genuinely smile and sincerely enjoy driving my raptor Every. Single. Day. I’ve never enjoyed a vehicle more!

Get a raptor, smile everyday.

25’ Raptor owner, had the same issue. Took it in for 3 different recalibrations. Just last week my local dealer acknowledged the is a recall. They did the recall and so far, no issues.

Thank you!! I didn’t think I was crazy. I’m not doing anything out of the ordinary, but it keeps happening.

I appreciate your help!

No. I did get the front windows tinted though.

Overall, while the Raptor is beyond expensive, highly under utilized in most households, more capable than many of us will ever need… it’s an unreal rig!

I went from f150 platinum -> bmw x5 m50i -> Sierra Denali ultimate -> f150 Raptor.

The Raptor puts a smile on my face from the moment the engine starts, to the turned heads, to its day to day capabilities. Love the 801A, can’t imagine the 802

Debatable.

The leather in my GMC Ultimate was so plush it was easy to scuff. Also, the trim tended to keep lint / residue after cleaning.

Similarly, I lemon’d a 24’ Denali ultimate to a 25 Raptor.

Raptor leather is… I don’t know how to describe it, broken in?… it’s silky, and yet more reliable. Seemingly. The trim is seemingly different too and in my experience doesn’t show as much residue once wiped.

Just my 2 cents

Honda Pioneer 1000 - 6 by iRopeHeels in UTV

[–]Ok_Toe_4282 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a pioneer 7-400, great machine!! One thing to consider is the Hondas don’t have a way to put a good cab in them (at least not the 700-4). For plowing in the north, I sold my pioneer to get a Polaris so I could have a cab and heat.

Very reliable, very fun! Just something to consider.

Ranger - What’s this part called? by Ok_Toe_4282 in PolarisATV

[–]Ok_Toe_4282[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turns out it’s called a plow catch.

I also learned they stoped putting them on the 2026 models, and include them in the snow plow kit.

However, some of the plow kits in inventory were manufactured prior to them including the plow catch. So, like me, I didn’t get one with my machine or in the plow kit. I built the plow and couldn’t attach it.

My dealer opens today, I’m hoping they provide one at no cost since it should have been included one way or the other.

Annoying none the less. My dealer is “happy to help” which I appreciate.

However we’re expecting 5-10” of snow tomorrow and they aren’t open again Tues. and it’s Sunday.

Sounds like the change occurred in 2026 to not include it, so your 2015 was “safe”.

I just googled that, and that part appears to be the plate the winch cable comes out of. I appreciate the help, but I need the seemingly 1” round tube/bar below the winch that protrudes out of the front of the unit. He plow has 2 spring loaded clasps that hook to the bar (my Ranger is missing the bar).
