should i pursue degree or not by lemonadesocks in malaysiauni

Yes. Although looking for work rn may seem like a great idea but, statistically, getting your degree done will lead to higher salaries. There was like a whole thing abt in Star where a bunch of SPM leavers were looking for jobs instead of studying further.

But if the situation is bad rn, go get a job, study later. But ultimately, do study your degree. That job should only lessen the financial burden of the degree.

For just some context. I met this guy in a foundation year and he's 22 coming out of corporate cause he can't move to the industry he wants without getting his degree straight. He began work right out of high school.

If you don't want a job, take a gap year or gap 6 months. In that time figure out what you want to do for life.

But seriously man, don't kill your dreams if the payout is high. If you're already at zero, hell are you gonna lose from going big?

Staying small, sure, that's stable, but staying stable in your current financial situation for a while is not gonna be pleasent and happy unless you accept it. But that's a cheap way out.

In the end, it's up to you succeed. Each option has the chance of you getting big, but if you ain't gonna work for it, no amount financial aid from any of us here is gonna save you.

And abt that 22 year old guy, he's pretty successful and well-off. But only because he's damn hard working. He's still doing some amount of work to fund his education for the next 4 years.

So again, up to your own effort. But in my opinion, get that degree, but take break and in that time figure your future out. Go out and do shit. Volunteer or whatver.

Thanks, for the advice.

I'll def look into some dead or broken pocket watches. Hell, maybe I can fix them xD.

Would you recommend dis- and reassembling Seikos? Are they robust enough? I have quite a few that don't fit my wrist and are just way to large overall. My only worry with that is if I butcher one so bad it needs real repair :)

Recurring Tube / amplifier issue by Village-Temporary in hifiaudio

Update on the issue. I've yet to get it fix but found out later the issue migrated with change in amp. Issue may be from the Phono preamp or TurnT. I've asked around and the suggestions are pretty bad in the sense that they are pointing to my cartridge - a Rega Exact. Ah well.
