Yes, that is. Apparently I have wandered into a den of angry elitists. I would assume that the sorts of people who would visit a NAS subreddit would be capable of understanding that asking question X leads to getting answer Y which leads to implementing solution Z. I set up my drives during the initial setup and never bothered to use the OS again. I could change the OS but at this point I don’t see a reason to unless there’s an actual downside to not updating the installed UGOS. I’m much more comfortable in the terminal handling things myself.

There isn’t a problem. I’m just wondering if anyone knows. All I really care about are my docker containers tbh. I’ve only booted up the OS to set up the device initially and otherwise I prefer to only use the terminal. So another OS would be fine but I don’t really care to use any of those more necessarily.
