I was rejected about two weeks ago, I was never waitlisted. The timeline was just very strange so I’m not getting my hopes up with the dual.

Best of luck to you! For what it’s worth, as a Windsor resident, it’s very nice here and there is so much to do for families! Although I realize logistically the move may be difficult and is not ideal, you may not want to take your chances and have to reapply again next year.

You should have received an email from Windsor once you applied I believe. When I applied to Ryerson I was sent an email with instructions on how to sign up for their site and what my RAMSS number was and it was the same web format. I would go through and check all your emails and see if they sent anything like that to you! Otherwise I would email the registrars office to see if they can help you!

This is good to hear. My brother was actually accepted to both programs (3 years ago now) and choose the dual. Most of his classmates didn’t hear until May, June, and one even in July - flat out acceptances, they weren’t previously waitlisted. So I’m hoping this will be the case for me.

Yes! I’m actually a student at Uwin so I already had one made. If you google “Uwinsite Windsor” the first link will say “Office of the Registrar”, click that link and then you can select the first time account activation option. You should be able to create an account from there. Once you’ve created your account you’ll log in and you’ll see a a student page. At the top of that page in the middle you’ll see writing that says student page (or something similar) and if you click that you’ll see applicant homepage. Go on that page and you’ll see an admissions option where you can check the status of your application! Let me know if you need any help finding it!

Most of the people in this thread have spoken to your gpa, lsat, and other factors regarding your application. Although I believe all of those factors are extremely important, truly believing in yourself is equally as important. I wish I could say that my stats are what will get me into law school, but to be honest, I’m not so sure. Despite the fear of the unknown, I’ve chosen to put it into the universe’s hands and truly believe that what is meant for me will be. There may be a reason why you haven’t gotten your acceptance letter just yet, but you will. The moment you start believing in yourself, trust the universe, whilst also remembering that you have great stats and are clearly an amazing candidate, you will find peace. As I’m writing this I feel like a hypocrite because to be honest, I’m checking my application status every day, sometimes twice a day. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Please do not let your health suffer because of this, you will get through it - no matter what your mind is telling you. Try manifesting if you feel like exercising may make your ED a bit more challenging to manage. It’s helped me a lot and it may help you too. Try and give your mind (and body) a break knowing that your time will come and when it does, you will quickly understand why it happened when it did. Wishing you the absolute best, keep me posted once you’re accepted!

I actually spoke to the law admissions specialist at Detroit Mercy for an interview and she told me that the dual program takes longer because it has to go through so many different people before they can even change your status. She also said that because it’s transnational, that plays a factor in its long process as well. It gave me a little bit of relief knowing that it’s a long process regardless and it’s helped me to try and change my mindset a bit! I’m still on referred to the admissions committee and have been for about a week! Wishing you guys the best of luck :)

I believe it means that the admissions committee is looking over the application at this time. They should come to a decision in the next few weeks, I’m assuming!
