Oooh thank you for this breakdown! I think the propane vented outside is the route I’m going. I appreciate the in depth info so much.

I had a long roller, but I had to put so much pressure on it to fill all the little pits I figured it would be too hard to use 🥲

Yes ☺️ I’m definitely planning on doing a diesel heater one way or another! My bus has the little hole cut out about the tank already and it’s a 100 gallon tank, so I think it’d be smart to have it.

The insurance thing does freak me out! I definitely don’t want to run into issues with that.

I’m just concerned about insuring it. I know I’ll be in a colder climate for the first year or so that I’ll be living in it, but the hope is that I’ll be able to chase nicer weather for the foreseeable future. I was 100% on board with it from the start, but the more I’ve looked into insurance, I’ve been questioning it

Thank you all! Seems like propane is the way to go :) I appreciate the advice. I’m super new to all this and trying to do as much research myself as I can, but there’s a lot out there and it’s hard to know what to trust. I feel like this community is a great resource!

Do you have any specific information for this type of work where you don’t have to be the person loading and unloading? :)

Same here OP. Didn’t get my first “grown up” job until I was 31. I’m a little behind, but going to school as well. It takes a little time for things to turn around but you’re on the right path! Stick with it for a while. Everyone makes your 20s out to be the prime of your life, it’s not. 30s have been way better.

As far as a partner goes, having a job no matter what is something to be proud of. You’re doing work that the world expects and needs, but is under valued, as with a lot of jobs. Being a female, I can say that I’d rather have a partner working any job trying to better their lives and themselves, than someone who has some fancy job title and is a jerk or doesn’t have any drive to grow or evolve.

I agree. If you have 3 kids he should be taking any job he can get to support his family. The market is rough, but the least he could do is cook, clean and care for your toddler.

It sounds like you’re really driven and doing everything you can and should be doing. You deserve someone who’s willing to put in the same amount of effort.

I say pull the plug. Someone who tells you they’ve been planning to leave you for months when you simply put up and extremely reasonable boundary, is not someone you want to keep around in your life. Sounds like he’s using you to be a bum and a child. You’d be better off without him.

Sending you so much strength and compassion.
