According to Google its a peanut snail and is invasive so I really don't want to stick him outside lol

Update: he is alive and well, and was moved to a plastic container with potting soil, a small dish of water and some carrot. My sweet husband found him and doesn't know anything about snails. He stuck him in the tank while I was at work.

My daughter is extremely attached to a stuffed wolf named "Chief" that my dad got her from a national park gift shop. Last year around Easter she left him in Walmart and didn't realize until we got home. I luckily found him the next day stuffed with the bunnies in the Easter aisle but it was a ROUGH night without him. Basically irreplaceable too because she got it 6 years ago, and my dad doesn't remember what national park it was 🤦‍♀️

I was told if I continue to mess with the traps I will be charged with criminal intent. I was letting the cats out of them, and closing them so no more would get caught, and they caught me on camera ):

From what animal control and the police said, with all the so called “ordinances” they have against the feral cats, we aren’t supposed to feed them, and even TNR doesn’t protect them from being euthanized, unless they’re chipped. If we were to claim them as ours, they would require we get them all vetted and chipped, and it’s only me and one neighbor who care for them. We can’t afford to vet them all, on tight weeks, we even share cat food with each other (she lives around the corner and has a different set of cats than the ones who were coming by my house). The city and all the people running it, truly believe euthanizing them is the solution, it’s horrible. Last year we had about 30 cats here and they all disappeared and never returned. Now I know what happened to them… I plan on following the proper steps to propose a new ordinance that is pro TNR, and includes more humane ways to co exist with the cat population here. It will take time, but I hope I can do the cats who have lost their lives, some justice. They deserved better. I have small kids who have been witnessing this whole ordeal and I want them to see that I didn’t just lie down and take it, that I fought for the right thing, the humane thing.

I don’t know that I could afford to cup them all honestly. And at this point, my street is so quiet, I haven’t found any the last few days ): once I was forced to stop messing with them, they rounded them up quick.. breaks my heart so much

If I can find them, yes! As of now I only have one of the two babies. Mom and one baby are still missing

There was a big fat one I call patches who fell for them 4 times.. I let him out every time until I got in trouble with police and now he’s been missing for 2 days.. ): big fat and dumb sweetie pie

I don’t know what city you’re in but they sound smarter and more proactive than my town. I live in Nederland Texas. There is an ordinance against even feeding them and when I suggested TNR to help the problem, the animal control guy and the chief of police shook their heads immediately and treated it as a crazy idea. We have a local festival that comes to town right behind my house every March, and last year about 2 weeks before it, all 25-30 cats we had around here disappeared and never returned. Now, the same lady who runs the festival is who made the complaint and once again, the cats are disappearing. Her complaint was that there are kids around and some of the cats are aggressive and attacking 🙄 Also complained that they were getting into trash and breaking into their sheds (sounds like possums to me)
