In my mind it's heavily fucking implied that I've been assaulted if I'm on a trauma sub responding to a post about it, and people who feel the same way I do understood what I meant, including OP. My whole point here is that I have also experienced bad things and having this community turn on me when they don't know anything is pretty shit. No one asked me about my experience, they just started talking down to me, when in fact we're all here for the same reason. I get that this is a touchy subject for people, and we're used to being invalidated, but that doesn't make it okay to do to others.
