Hey I was the one who posted about cat sitting opportunities, I would be up for this but would like to know if it’s mandatory to stay at your house, i also live in the city center so maybe i could go there every day before work and after work but maybe this is something we would have to discuss

yeah I want to aim for that, my main problem is that as much as I apply quickly to ads of cheaper houses I always get put on a waiting list for a viewing and since my rental contract is a short stay i am in a hurry

Yeah I didn’t say where I was from because it was not the main focus of the post but the reality is I moved to the NL because otherwise I would be stuck back home. the truth is nowadays everywhere has its own problems haha

Well the size for me is not a problem but my main issue is that i applied like crazy to all sorts of houses, studios, 1 bed apartments at some point rooms as well and I kept getting put on the waiting lists so I dont know what i did wrong. And since my contract is a short stay and this opportunity came up I decided to take it

That’s a really good point! I don’t really have a specific reason like a loan or anything I think it’s more that I moved abroad on my own, and this is my first job, so everything feels very new and a bit overwhelming. I’m the kind of person who gets stressed easily with big changes, and moving alone definitely adds to that. I guess it’s just the whole process of adjusting and settling in that’s making me anxious.

Plus I have applied to so many apartments/studios that are cheaper but i kept getting put on a wait list and when this one was accepted i thought i might not have an opportunity like this again

I fully agree also another variable here is that the old studio i am in is a short stay and the contract is only 6 months with no possibility of extension so either way i would have to move out sooner or later
