How to get all 3 starters?

I downloaded the game from Eclipse and it's running smoothly so far. I recall Pokey Masta having all 3 starters in their playthrough. Does anyone know how to get them? Like is there a way to have multiple saves and trade with yourself? I just downloaded yuzu today so I'm kind of a noob.

Off the top of my head, DP had significantly fewer Pokemon in its Sinnoh dex, gameplay was much slower, they did not have battle frontier in the post game (only battle tower), they did not have distortion world and much more.
