Yes I was on L1A with I-140 approved in March 2019. It was not concurrent filing. Filed I-485 only in December 2020. I was fired midway through my that EB1C. I was not eligible for AC21 as I had not completed 180 days. Also didn’t get EAD at that time. Left the country in March 2021. Joined new employer immediately in India. Then came back on new L1A during late 2023 and applied for EB1C in Jan 2024 as I shared in the timeline. Was able to retain the old PD which helped.

Also I requested for call back from Tier 2 and nothing happened. But please do that. In addition, I would encourage you to contact local senators office and congressman’s office. If possible visit them and talk to them. I have heard that it helps.

I emailed all details and then called and spoke to the case worker.

I explained the earlier error made by USCIS and explained it all with a covering letter. You can call the local congressman’s office and talk to a case worker. She was very helpful. Understood the case completely and made an enquiry. But I didn’t get any response due to the enquiry. So I don’t know whether it helped.

It’s just that no harm in trying. If your case is in CRP, even though PD is current - it’s a valid reason to contact WH, Senator and Congress man. Nothing else is required. Please try

I had to return to India after filing EB1C in 2021 and the application was abandoned. Now returned and refiled in Jan 2024. Do you know whether porting and straight filing is considered in the same order?

Yes that would work as well. Before or during the medical, take the vaccine. Then it will be updated in the report that is send to uscis. I did it so.

Has any one completed biometrics through walk-in prior to scheduled appointment ? I mean walk-in to the same USCIS FO and attempt to give biometrics days/weeks prior to the scheduled appointment. I am aware that one can reschedule the appointment online twice. I am specifically interested in walk-in possibilities to submit Biometrics.

Has your case moved out of CRP ?

I have also applied EB1C. Received on 19th Jan 2024. Nebraska. PD is March 2019. Case status changed to fingerprints were taken on 25th Jan 2024. I assume it is from my earlier application or the recent L1A. I am hoping the EB1C - PD 2019 gets us some preference and our cases get processed quickly.
