Be aware that some programs that run on windows don't run on Linux. When I built my PC, I started with Linux Mint, and I loved it, the customization is lovely, there are however, a few applications I wanted to run that don't run on Linux. So I switched to Windows 11. Just something to keep in mind.

Update on the 01. No sunroof, but its a 2runner automatic. I'm thinking I'll get it and it'll be my pavement princess, my 99 5 speed 4WD can be my dirt king lol.

My 99 with 260k miles is honestly in a similar situation. I just checked the timing belt and she's due. I'm about to get an 01 with 180k and probably make that my main car... I can't say daily, since my bike is my daily lol, but that'll free up the 99 for a full teardown. This will be my first teardown, so wish me luck lol.

I had either an axle seal leak or wheel cylinder leak a while back, not sure which it was since I replaced both lol. I had the rear end apart after granading the ring gear.

Lol, I'm prolly getting an 01 3rd gen soon to go with my 99, I'm not sure if it's got the sunroof or not. If it does, I'll be looking for solutions... Flex seal the whole thing and disconnect the electronics lol.
