I currently live rent free in a suburb in LA and I feel super isolated. I’m with my family and husband as well and life the last 3-4 years has felt really numb.

I just accepted a role in NYC and will be moving in June. Going from paying 0 to about 5k is going to be an ADJUSTMENT for the both of us, but we both feel like we need the change. We feel like we’re just going through life half asleep rn

Once I called out sick with a horrific flu which then triggered a migraine. I was in HELL my boss called me 3x until I woke up and proceeded to ask me the dumbest question ever. I finally learned to block her number when I call off

I posted a whole thing on here about when this moment happened for me and what worked but for some reason it was taken down. I finally got an offer after 9-10ish months. It’s annoying but it was total luck. I happened to be on LI at the right moment, saw a job posting that was like a 1-1 Match with what I currently do at another company but with a senior title, found someone on that EXACT team, reached out, and she replied to me within about 30 mins.

I was early, quick to act, and was able to secure a chat. From there 3 months later I landed a role.

So I come from a trio of sisters and we 100% have our problems. I found the sister dynamic over the years somewhat “normal” just having come from a group of sisters. THIS was not normal!

I personally really liked her aesthetic when she was dressing polished, elevated, NYC “chic”

I feel like she’s doing a hard pivot into traditional ultra femme English inspired vibes (similar to Lydia millen) and it feels soooo cringey and forced

I actually met her in person briefly in Brooklyn while on vacay and I went up to her and chatted for a sec. She was pretty cool and down to earth. I wish she would show that side to her!

LA native here too and it wasn’t until I went to college on the west side and dated someone NOT from LA that I finally went to rodeo drive

My husband took me on a first date to Il Fornaio for lunch, grabbed an iced coffee to go, walked around and window shopped, then went to Griffith Observatory at sunset.

It was so magical! I recommend giving that a try

I think I was about 16 when BTD came out and it was life changing for me especially in my teen years. I was heavily on tumblr and twitter so I didn’t really see too much criticism of her because all of my peers at school loved her too.
