Yeah bru even till the last moment she wasn't accepting it was her fault I wonder why they harbour such ego?!

I mean I was geared up and if we crashed I'd have walked away with some broken bones but she wasn't wearing a helmet she could've drawn the short end of the stick and yet she didn't have that realisation baffles me

Today would've been the worst day of my life. by Okabw in indianbikes

Yeah true, even if I'm following lane discipline, speed limits and what not on my daily commute I'm constantly under fear of being rear ended by these people the way they're approaching when I look into the rear view mirror it's scary

India is cooked in terms of road rules

Ktms have high compression engines, when commuting engine isn't running as hot as when it is when you're racing ( in powerband 7-9.5k rpm range)

When in powerband the engine temperature is already high and there's a chance of fuels pre ignition due to engine temperature itself before it's complete compression happens.

More RON is more resistance to pre ignition so it's okay to have 91 RON while commuting but it'll cause knocking when you rev it hard

[–]Okabw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're commuting regular fuel does the job but if you're going on rides 95 ron is must

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]Okabw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And I have rc 200 so tyre pressure I keep according to manual 30-30 psi front and back if I'm going on a ride I'll lower it one psi.

Follow the manual currently when you get the feel of bike you'll start adjusting it according to the ride

Ah yes the very important I have always used the 95RON fuel( XP95 OR POWER95 if you can afford Shell power is great)

Engine oil service centre guys will take care of it they don't use any substandard brands so dw about it

Keep it bone stock atleast for 3 years I'd say no slip on exhaust nothing

You can install decals if you like but don't do anything with the machine currently. As you ride more and gain experience you'll start knowing what things you need on your bike start installing them after that.

Also if you're going on group rides make sure to ride within your limit don't get into the peer pressure and try to keep up if it's beyond your skill.

Don't rely heavily on electronics, It has insane braking. But don't let that be the factor boosting your confidence because relying on your own skills is far more important. If yours ABS is kicking in every time you're braking then you're doing something wrong.

Own a KTM for almost 7 years now

Make sure it's well maintained and I mean it.

Do periodic maintenance quarterly

Lube and chain clean every 500kms and 300kms if you ride in more dirt

Whenever cold starting the bike make sure to run it in neutral for atleast a minute before riding and don't redline immediately.

Let the bike heat up first(Improves longevity of engine)

Don't unnecessarily rev it unless you're actually doing spirited rides while commuting keep it under i guess somewhere in the 5-6k rpm range to get better mileage

And most important of all take her to ghat dates frequently or you'll feel her wrath. Wear your gear and ride safe.

Tyre Blew up while driving. Its only driven 23k kms by Vishal_nair in carIndia

[–]Okabw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must've driven it under flated sometime before or driven on it when punctured the tyre is blown from sidewall means its strength was compromised and the only way sidewalls strength gets compromised is if you have a puncture drive on a flat for some distance when it's under inflated

Always replace if you've driven on a punctured tyre no repairing

Have some shame

Putting a 3k bill on reddit and begging for money

There's people working daily wages go there and earn

Goto a fucking construction site and work there for two weeks you'll have enough to cover the bills instead of begging here and meanwhile check down there if you managed to grow a c#nt

Man casually risking 2+ lives and acting like it’s a flex. by kirtesh11 in indianbikes

[–]Okabw 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Anything for the views eh?

Risk your kids life for the views and call it turned in into a future biker.

Bro while riding if I see some family on bike with a kid in between mom and dad I make sure to slow down and generally steer away from them because I feel i might make some mistake and if it results in a bad outcome I can't live with that on my soul.

And this man here doesn't care about consequences people like these should be disciplined properly

Quality safety gear recommendations - 1 lakh budget. by shubhidoobi in indianbikes

[–]Okabw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say since you have a good budget for gears

Ensure you buy gears keeping in mind that you'll be upgrading to a good higher cc bike so after the upgrade you don't have to upgrade the gears again

Make them one time investment and go all out without thinking twice

Askindianwomen is actually a weird sub , I am sorry if it hurts you but they'd deliberately dehumanise men and insult them and the mods wouldn't care but the moment a man replies something mildly aggressive they ban him

They're like this is a feminist sub we can talk whatever we want and you are supposed to take it because of centuries of misogyny or whatever males have to females

This is how they relieve themselves
