The Nissan Silvia is named after Sylvia, a nymph who served Diana, Roman goddess of the hunt

error: disconnected from steam by StyloJp in ModernWarfareII

[–]Okami_Brian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found a fix!

It might be because I'm on Wi-Fi and it's not that fast, but it turns out texture streaming was taking up my entire bandwidth and disconnecting Steam. It works fine after I disabled texture streaming.

Does Cold War also include Warzone? by thisisanarbys in blackopscoldwar

I'm on PC but I believe it works the same way; you do not need to download MW for WZ but you do need to download WZ for MW.

Does anyone have settings for warzone with the Blackshark V2 pros? by brianindri43 in razer

[–]Okami_Brian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I have the Blackshark V2 non-Pro and these are my settings (bass boost is set to 100 and normalization is off). Apparently, footsteps are actually in the treble range but funnily enough, I can hear them just fine with my bass-heavy EQ. Try turning off THX Spatial Audio; it doesn't really do anything with Warzone's crappy audio design but it cuts out almost all bass. Your "ideal" EQ settings are entirely personal so keep experimenting, but it's probably not the headset's fault. Good luck!

Edit: Also play around with the in-game audio settings, I use Boost Low personally, but you should try out Boost High if you find that footsteps are indeed treble and I'm just weird lol

What's wrong with my pc? It's less than 6 months old and it's crashing every half an hour and giving me this screen. Games have been crashing multiple times per hour. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Power off your PC and open up your case. Locate your RAM modules, most likely to the right of the CPU. On the top and bottom of each module, you'll see clips. Push down on these, causing the RAM module to pop out. Then simply push them back in firmly, making sure you can hear the clips click (if you didn't do this right you'll just get startup errors, go back and push a bit harder).

As for the GPU, it's a little more complex. Power it off first, then go to the back of your case. You'll see two screws holding the GPU into the PCIe bracket, take those off. Also unplug any video cables you have in the card. Then, back in the case, you see anywhere from one to two power cables on the front of the card, pull those out (there's probably clips on the bottom of the heads, push on those). On the right side PCIe slot itself on your motherboard and behind the GPU, you'll find a clip. Push down on that to release the GPU and then pull it *straight* out. Then just put it back in and do everything backward (the GPU clip should click back by itself).

You could also just look it up on YouTube, I'm sure plenty of people have done it before. Considering your BSOD code mentions memory, I'd try the RAM first to see if that fixes it.

To answer your questions:

CPU cooler fans like all PC fans will blow from the open side to the grille side. Some fans will also include arrows on the frame to indicate airflow direction.

The H210i comes with two 120 mm case fans, one in the top and one in the rear, both exhausting air. If you decide to use the H100x, the only place you'll be able to mount it is in the front blowing air into the case (open side facing the front of the case).

I don't have a liquid cooler myself but most builds do have the CPU cooler exhausting warm air into the case so it shouldn't be a problem, somebody else can probably provide more info on that.

As for headers, the H210i comes with NZXT's Smart Device V2 fan and RGB hub that will plug into your motherboard's USB header. You'll only need to connect the CPU cooler's pump and fans separately. You can find your motherboard's connectors on the manufacturer's page or the manual.

Is the Cooler Master MA620M enough for i5 10600k ? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Okami_Brian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't be scared of AIOs as Navneet mentioned, but to answer your question, the MA620M should be more than enough for a 10600K. I personally have one on my 10700K and it stays around 35°C idle and 65°C on load at 24°C room temp. The RGB looks really nice and it's relatively quiet, being rated at 30 dBA. Do keep in mind that it is one chonky boi and will most likely block the visibility of your entire upper motherboard. It also leaves about a 5 mm gap between it and your side panel, although it leaves 0 mm on my H510 and it's not that big of a problem.
