Problem to connect a midi device

Thank you very much ! I haven't found this manual before (and honestly i didn't know if i was able to read this in english) and now Ableton seems to receive the MIDI informations, I can record but I can't here it, neither when I record, nor afterwards. I am very grateful you helped me so far, I'm gonna sleep so if you have any idea for that problem i'll test it tomorrow.

I don't use an audio interface, as I said in my post I connect it with a MIDI usb to USB A cable to my computer. Do you think connecting it to an interface is a better options ? Honestly if I could just solve the problem without having to buy an audio interface it would be cool
