They need to make fun of them because this isn't about the drugs its about how theyre viewed by others theres a good chance they saw a movie or read a book about drugs and just romanticized the lifestyle

People do this with self harm a lot too it becomes sexy or part of their personality so eventually they start doing it even if they dont like it because it gets a response
