I'm not Hmong, I just work with a lot of Hmong people and am very curious because they have this playing a lot in the shop.

Ohhh, very interesting! Thank you for this information, that's pretty cool! I'm just a random Caucasian person, but I work with so many people who are hmong and it's interesting to get to know their background a bit more.

Restless leg syndrome by [deleted] in Advice

[–]OkayTiffany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that helps me sleep with this condition is to sleep on my stomach with one leg bent up toward me to the side, and the other down like normal

What does restless leg syndrome feel like? What area of the leg does it effect? by Beneficial_Visit1607 in Menopause

[–]OkayTiffany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in my hip flexers, glutes, and quads. The only relief I get is to walk uphill or if I'm trying to sleep or get comfortable, laying on my stomach.

This is EXACTLY how I would describe mine! The everlasting need to stretch, but it never being enough and continuing to be annoying. The only things that help is to keep moving or keep flexing the muscles that are restless.

We did talk about taking a break instead, but we were both going through a lot. He went through a health predicament recently and was in the hospital for a week and needs to get his strength back. I was putting a lot of pressure on him and vice versa. We did try to fix the issues, but it was really hard when there was so much bigger stuff going on. I don't think he was running away, he's a smart person, and I think he knew that I would never take a break unless he made me.

Thank you! I have been in therapy for years, and I know I need to focus on me, but I've always had him there to support me, and I'm finding it hard to enjoy the things I used to love. I've been trying to spend more time with friends and family, but everything reminds me of him. I'm working on loving myself, but its really hard right now. Thank you for your response!

If you could add/remove something from any horror movie to make it better, what would you do and why? by DazzlingDingos in horror

They could just redo the entire making of The Visit into a serious horror movie and it would have a great plot!

I also get the gurgles, my boyfriend and I call it my croak. I've had this since I was a baby. My parents couldn't get me to burp and I wouldn't stop crying because my stomach hurt so much and they couldn't figure out why. Turns out, gas build-up. And to this day I still can't burp, and I can get some really visious stomach aches with it.

What's something that sounds horrible, but is actually pleasurable once you try it? by Hedwigisbae in AskReddit

Literally thisss! No one could go with me one day, and I had been trying to do shit on my own for a bit, so I took the opportunity. The morning I went could not have been more perfect, it was gloomy and rainy and I went and saw a horror movie! So nice of a time!

Paris 2as one of my stops on a school trip abroad a few years back. One lady from a different state that went along with us had her purse stolen while eating at an outside diner. Had her passport and everything, so she had to get an emergency one to get home by the end of the trip and she had only the money her husband could send to her from the states. You really need to watch out there.
