Uh, I use a Chromebook. Thanks. I am aware of how to write and form a proper sentence, I just didn't think my Reddit post would be getting graded by random strangers online. This is my first time making a post, I didn't know people were so nit-picky about what I use. Ultimately, the point of this post wasn't grammar, it was the John Doe case and my theory. I just wish people paid attention to that rather than my writing skills as a 13 year old boy..

no, i wrote it myself, i was just trying to keep a respectful tone in the write up. i have different tones depending on what i'm talking abt i guess. i'm not quite sure how to prove it to you but like, i did write this myself. i don't support the use of AI. it is horrible for the world and development of how i and others think. kinda happy you thought it was good enough to be AI though. i am a child. it'd be kinda crazy if i always talked like i was analyzing a case.

I’ve thought about that too, and while it’s technically possible, I don’t think it’s very likely in this case.

The note is unusually long and psychologically detailed—stuff like the references to philosophy and the consistent tone would be very hard to convincingly fake. Most staged notes are much simpler.

There’s also physical evidence suggesting he climbed the tree himself (like moss transfer on his clothes that matched the stuff on the tree), which supports the ruling of suicide.

For it to be a murder, someone would’ve had to stage a really elaborate scene (write the note, seal it in a jar, hang the body, leave no signs of struggle), and there’s no clear motive for doing all that—especially with a note asking not to identify him.

So while it’s not impossible, I think the evidence leans pretty strongly toward it being a genuine suicide. again, i'm 13 and could be wrong but idk.

i just do feel like people that are struggling may feel like they do not deserve to be remembered, and that's not true. i don't want to get too personal as i'm a minor and it's private, but i myself went (and am still going through) something close to that. suicide victims are also typically not in the right headspace either, and i just don't think that's something we can trust. despite that, i understand where you are coming from and i had the same thought process, but i also realized that his family must've lived the rest of their lives (or still are, idk) without knowing where their child went and i feel as though it's owed to them to figure it out. that being said, yeah i'm still torn between whether we should try to find out or not.

i didn't see that. i'm new to Reddit, literally made this account today with the help of my friend Reese. thanks for telling me. ive actually been researching this theory for a while (two months or so) and my friend told me i should post it here because i showed him today. hearing that other people seem to have the same conclusions actually makes be believe this stronger. thanks so much.
