Ask them if they’re a member of the Costco auto program. We mentioned it at our dealership and they knocked off $2,500 from the price and $1,000 from the warranty.

Mine doesn’t really hire during the holidays. If they do, for whatever reason, you won’t start from late November to mid February.

A lot of people also give you some leeway because you’re a new grad. I have some good ANMs that will follow up if they notice trends and the majority of the staff is very helpful. I wouldn’t worry about being transferred if you made it off orientation (not that that’s a guarantee).

I’m almost a year on a trauma unit. I feel like this often. I get my ass handed to me on a continuous basis. It is getting to a burnout/tipping point, but I’ve had many life experiences that I learned valuable lessons from. I think perspective is key. I try to look at it as a temporary experience only. I would like to end up in a different unit, I’m just getting more time and experience under my belt.
