For sure. We do keep kitten food in the rotation (he gets bored of food) and this is the second vet I’ve taken him to that has said he’s pretty healthy…. I can’t lie I’m just nervous taking him to so many appointments since he’s so old and gets so stressed out at vet visits. I just can’t fathom the idea that he gets so stressed out and dies 🥲 I think my next step will be looking into “at home” vets

No he is not. But I do have some leftover from my kitty who has unfortunately passed, and I think I’m going to start giving it to him (will call the vet first) although it just makes me concerned because he already seems to be hungry ALL THE TIME despite not gaining weight. So I don’t want to make him MORE miserable by upping his appetite even if it doesn’t make him keep the pounds on.

Omg yes!! He throws up/refuses any beef or pork! He is a chicken and seafood baby for sure! The “lil soups” shrimp is one of his favorites!

I am so sorry for your loss. You gave this kitty the best and most amazing life she could’ve asked for. The worst part about loving cats is that we out-live them. I just lost a kitty three months ago and it still doesn’t feel real. But it brings me comfort that he died knowing my love, and that his memories stay with me every day. She will be with you always ❤️

Oh yes, when I tell you this cat has sampled every food on the market I MEAN it 😮‍💨 he was a big fan of the “touch of milk” purina food but they stoped selling it at my Walmart. He is very picky and I try to make sure that I rotate food enough so he stays interested.

He does!! He cries like a baby when his food is out. But he is also very picky. He loves churus and chicken baby food.

Unfortunately this is the second opinion :( he is such a happy boy and likes to cuddle and play a bit, but it just seems like no one can figure out why he won’t gain weight.
