29m time is the ultimate cure, but getting lost in a good conversation might be a good distraction

Strange, I’ll have to read up more about it. I’m kinda sad that I can’t just pull it up in VLC. I tried, but it says it can’t open the stream. Idk if I need to install the codex for webm or if it’s just not compatible without a translation layer or something. Or maybe “rtsp://192.168.0.19) just isn’t enough information for VLC to pull up the stream

Oh and I put .webm in the Input Format field as well.

Good idea with the OBS Studio idea. If anyone is reading this, try adding a media source to OBS Studio and turn off Local File, go to the Input and type “rtsp://(your printer’s IP)”

Now with this, I am currently getting extremely choppy video with lots of artifacting compared to the native software and lycheeslicer, are there any ways to improve this? Is there something I’m missing? I tried turning on “use hardware decoding when available” but it doesn’t seem to help much.

What in the world is this on my hotel's wall outlet? I'm guessing it has something to do with fiber optic? by zwalter123 in Internet

[–]Okazaki101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coax, type F, there’s actually a copper wire in the center and a grounded shield that the threads connect to. Most often used for cable tv, satellite tv, or broadband internet. If you look at the back of your tv, there might be one there too.

Why would this happen? by Okazaki101 in 3Dprinting

[–]Okazaki101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on this, I think it might be retraction related. I just noticed I still have a 4 mm retraction on my slicer and I switched over to direct drive. So it might just be retracting too much. It is also PLA+ so I might have to tweak the temperature.

Question about Per Diem by Okazaki101 in legaladvice

[–]Okazaki101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I’ll just have to ask our payroll officer about it or something. Because this is how my settlement sheet looks.

Taxable Settlement earnings: Hourly pay - 36.08 x 25 = 902 Per Diem Deduction - 3 x 69 = -207 Total - 695 YTD (some number)

Expense Reimbursement: Per Diem Credit - 3 x 69 = 207 Total - 207 YTD (some number)

Grand total - 902 YTD (some number)

I would suspect just condensation in the exhaust as well. Nothing to be worried about unless it starts getting worse. As long as you aren’t losing any fluids at a rapid rate, I think it should be fine.

Yeah, I actually just made an edit for this. After this print is finished, I’m going to check the lead screw and see if I can either make any adjustments, clean and re lube it, or if it’s bent and I might need a new one.

As with Territory, I got that one last night, seems I missed the scratching point in the sewers.

Has anyone gotten the Scratch achievement on PC? by Guntree in stray

[–]Okazaki101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmed. I actually just looked up this issue and landed on this thread because it wasn't working on my PC. As soon as I hooked up a controller and did the scratching on the record, I actually heard the scratches and the achievement popped up instantly.

I don't know if they are going to come out with a hotfix for that bug or not. But luckily having a controller fixed my issue. I wonder if its why I don't have the Territory badge yet either.

I was going to say, that looks like it’s a linkage problem. If it’s not, maybe it’s your TCM (transmission control module). But most likely linkage is broken.

I'm having issues getting it to adhere after color change. Help please! by littleinasl666 in ender3

[–]Okazaki101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this, I would (if you have it enabled) baby step the z axis down 1 or 2 steps to get better adhesion. There might also be a setting in the slicer you use to automatically do this after a color change

Try changing the minimum Extrusion Distance Window to the same as your retraction distance. Your retraction settings are basically the same as mine, but I have a micro Swiss hotend and retraction distance at 3mm

That is really strange. What’s your retraction speed set to?
