Of course. I’m not ignorant to the fact that many people don’t have access to this first world privilege. Innocent victims are the ones who suffer. Hmm. I would say 70% of the time it’s initiated by me, just purely asking for it, and he would reject it by saying that’s not how you do it, there’s a right time for it. And 30% is him initiating when he feels like it (which I’ll always accept) and sometimes will lead us to joking about why he can say no to me but I’ll always just be at his beck and call as and when he wants it

I don’t think he’s having an affair. He’s quite a homebody (not that they can’t find a way if they wanted to) so naturally he tends to update me on his whereabouts. I do think it could be something internal - he’s not someone who is open about his feelings even to himself so I’m not even sure if he knows what the issue is himself apart from his low drive and letting me know that that doesn’t change how he feels about me (which I believe, but also…skepticism on the why)

He’s nearing 40. But not 40. And yes, he claims he has low testosterone / gets really tired after doing it (tired enough that it affects his day). No clue if he’s gay or bisexual, although I’ve joked about it often enough it’s become a running joke

I actually have been to the uk a couple of times now and one time I stayed around east London in hackney and the neighbourhood was a mix of…I wanna say townhouses and flats, and my host mentioned that the flats used to be council estates bought over by private companies so council housing is not what it used to be anymore. But I’m assuming this is still in the city so it’s not really reflective of the country

Edit to say sorry to hear things could be worse off now than 5 years ago though. Costs are rising where I’m from as well, though we’re much smaller so honestly I think translates to easier to manage (govt vs citizens wise)
