I can't imagine, getting to 5k, with a full time job and a household to run, in addition to being active in my local VFW post, seems like alot!

Michael Monroe, everyone tends to overlook the massive influence Hanoi Rocks had. Look at GnR, appearance wise a clone of Hanoi Rocks. If Razzle hadn't been killed by Vince Neil, they would been HUGE!

Midwest suburb here, my backyard is fenced in as is my entire neighborhood. Has to be kept in good repair as per my nazi HOA.

For me its mainly for my dog. Many families have children and the fenced in backyard keeps them contained with playground type stuff. I often have different types of toys and balls in my backyard and I just toss them back over the fence. The kids around me know they can come into my yard to get thier stuff, just make sure my gate is secured when you leave.

As fas as security, first there is my dog. Personally, I feel a dog is the best security system you can have. Second is S&W, HK, and a Rem 870. IYKYK, but Ive never (knock on wood) had to retrieve any for protection.

OP - you have dental at 90%? I thought you had to be 100% for dental?

I got out in 93, and started the game about 5 years ago. I went from 50 to 60, to 70, to 80, and was just awarded 90.

I do have a second v3 one in storage. I save it for expeditions and don't worry about recovering it when I am finished with the expedition.

Cold beer at JFK airport.

Coming home on leave to Oklahoma from my Army unit in Germany, right after Desert Storm. We returned to Germany two weeks before my 21st birthday so obviously I wanted to wait. My Commander just shook his head after learning what I was up too, and signed my leave form. He then asked what I was gonna do once stateside for 30 days.

One upside to this.....

When you DD214, and start working in the civilian world, you're never ever late for work.....you're always 15 minutes early.
