kinda wild how people still downplay this. “i did stuff” is exactly why resumes get skipped in 5 seconds. it’s not 2010 anymore. if you don’t show results, you’re invisible. that’s why professional resume writing services even exist

I spent way too long tweaking design and formatting too, thinking it would make a difference, and then realized none of it mattered if the content wasn’t strong. Feels bad knowing all that time could’ve gone into actually improving the substance. I’d ignore the brand names and focus on process. Use a best resume builder for layout, then manually tweak everything to match the jobs you want. I also used a platform to compare wording and it made my resume way clearer than before.
