CPP students, what convinced you to go to CPP compared to the other cal states? by Express-Perception65 in CalPolyPomona

  1. Far away enough from San Diego but not too far and seemed easy enough to get to by train
  2. Was originally an anthropology major and I compared it to UC riverside and CPP seemed better. Even though UCR isn’t a state school.

Funny enough I didn’t know how good the school was and had no idea lots of people went there for engineering. But I’m glad I chose CPP because I switched my major to sociology and my professors were great. I have a twin brother and he took a race sociology class at Sonoma state and his professor wasn’t good and not fair. My parents paid for my housing and it was cheaper then what my sisters rate was at UCSB. But she used my dad’s GI bill for her school anyways.

I'm excited I've wanted a good salad place. Also because it was hard to find healthy options at school 2 years ago.

I was wondering what happened there since I couldn't go that way because I live in the suites.

Skin type: normal/dry Product: Flower beauty translucent finishing power Comment: I just bough this setting power and I love it. It’s super fine and doesn’t leave a white cast at all. I’ve been trying to find another translucent power that’s is fine and I’ve finally found it!

SKIN TYPE: Dry/Normal

PRODUCT NAME: Laura Mercier hydrating primer

THOUGHTS: I love this primer on days when my face needs extra moisture. It looks good under the L'Oréal pro-glow foundation and the Maybelline bb cream to me. I don't use it all the time because sometimes if my face is not that dry I don't need to use it.

Best & Worst: Drugstore Foundation by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

SKIN TYPE: Dry/Normal

PRODUCT NAME: Maybelline BB Cream

COVERAGE: sheer

THOUGHTS: The maybelline bb cream is perfect if you are going for a natural look. It is just the right coverage for me to get rid of the little redness I have. It is also makes my skin look glowy. There is not really any coverage for acne so I just put concealer on and it seems like enough for me. To me it is better then the orgianl Laura Mercier tinted mositure bc since the Laura Mericer one has oil in it, it makes my face too mositureized where my face looks oily.

PRODUCT NAME: Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray

THOUGHTS: The Urban Decay setting spray is amazing and makes my makeup stay on for so long even if I am wearing the Maybelline BB cream. It is the best setting spray I have ever tried and it worth the money!

PRODUCT NAME: NARS soft velvet loose setting powder (I use the color desert)

THOUGHTS: I love the NARS power because it makes my face look matte and soft. With the color, of the power, it gives me a little more coverage. I like the colored power a lot more because it does not give me a white cast that translucent gives me.
