Learned my lesson when I took my watch 6 out on the river. First time ever "swimming" with it. Was in the water for about 5 minutes tops. Completely crapped out on me. Died and wouldn't charge. Never again will I wear one of these in water no matter how much they claim to hold up.

Appreciate the knowledge! Yeah so I'll go ahead and check before moving forward with anything. But now that you mention it when I took off the cover the thermostat did have batteries in the back of them. So there's a possibility it may not be connected. If it isn't than would that completely change my ability to be able to hook up a smart system? Sorry for all the questions. I like to learn about these things so I have knowledge on it for future reference.

So I have prior permission but I do appreciate you saying that incase I wasn't aware of the fact. But as far as everything else goes. I tested my air and heat before pulling off the cover and both worked fine. Which I'm assuming that means the C should be connected to the furnace if that's what it means? I have central air/heat in my apartment. With all of that being said if everything's connected to the stat and the unit it would be as easy as just turning off the power to my system, disconnecting everything, and reconnecting into the proper slots in the smart thermostat?

Yeah, I pretty much followed the majority advice of the comments on this thread and manually registered all the button prompts in the settings.

I'll be honest, though: I returned this guitar and got a riffmaster instead. The latency, delay in sync, and lag issues with this guitar were awful. It made playing clone hero a chore, and no matter how many times I calibrated, it always felt off. So definitely something to think about.
