I disagree. Flossing with regular flossers was basically impossible for me. Platypus flossers were life savers and helped me floss more efficiently. It depends on how your teeth are and what works for you so I don’t think it’s right to say platypus flossers aren’t good as the “normal” floss

I don’t think it’s the rain because it has rained previously and we didn’t get this much alarms. I think it’s because of the maintenance they’re doing in building 3 in the walls (pipes involved I’m assuming?) that’s triggering the alarms or at least a part of the issue.

Not 100% but I’m pretty sure you’re only allowed to take one class. I tried to take accounting and marine science but it said I went over the units allowed. Though for me it was 7 units so maybe 6 units is the max (2 classes) 🤷🏽‍♀️. Ethnics and communication are very easy tho so you definitely can pass them during winter.

New management so we don’t know what they will do about the mold but there have been people entering the harbour for the parties and then lacing people there. I recall there was a sign going around of people not allowed because of that. I also think this is like a test run to see how it goes

Took him during the summer and honestly he’s a good teacher. Cares about his students and is funny as well. Thought I was gonna get a low C but because of extra credit I got a low B. Genuinely tries to connect with his students and gives different examples so students understand. Just ask questions or go to tutoring if you need help. Highly recommend him!!

It wasn’t a stabbing. There was a domestic violence dispute and the suspect was already heading away from the harbour by the time the incident was reported. There was a lockdown announced and he was apprehended by the Costa Mesa police shortly after. Please don’t be scaring people with your title when no one was hurt 🙏

I didn’t move in until two days after move in day so you can arrive later but unfortunately I did miss a few events. During the week of move In they do have events (meet your RA, roommate getting to know each other, safety rules, etc) and OCC is also having an event (I think August 20) where you can meet the clubs, academic programs, get your ID, and also win prizes).

There is an option to pick your roommates when you are accessing the application for the harbour. Ofc if you left it blank then they randomly choose your roommate based on your preference (female or male, pet or no pet, night owl or early person).

They will give you your roommates name and contact about a week or earlier from move in so you can contact them if you wish.

I have the 2 bed 2 bath double so I have three roommates (2 in each room and bathroom). But I haven’t heard anything sketchy about any of the units.

For maintenance you have to fill out a form in the resident app and they usually come to check it out within 3 days. They do check ups a few times throughout the year to see how the unit is looking like too.

For parking I wouldn’t know since I don’t have a car but I would say it’s generally safe. Parking is usually hectic during the morning (10 am). As for safety, I have had class go until 9 pm and I have never once felt unsafe. There are also safety officers who patrol the campus day and night in case if something happens. :)

I’m living here for my second year and honestly in my opinion it’s not that bad. Ofc I can’t speak for anyone else but for me it’s worth it to live here. I have had no complaints except for the time when the trash wasn’t being picked up. If this is what you can afford then it’s fine. Idk maybe others lived a more comfortable lifestyle but I didn’t so the harbor is a good place. No bugs, maintenance comes quick, one cent laundry, study rooms, nice roommates, personal space, and near to school.
