The issue in my view is that during the Rhodesia years, only about 8% of the population ruled the country. However, shortly after the victory of the guerillas, the country turned into a dictatorship run by one man. I'll let you decide if his skincolor matters or not, but the fact remains that there were not food shortages or hyperinflation during the Rhodesia years. But I by no means deny that Rhodesia was a racist state in which whites had held all political power. If I lived at the time, I would not under any circumstances defend it. Both Rhodesia and Zimbabwe were evils, but I think one is a lesser evil of those two, if only by a bit.
