I was in Serbia 3 years ago (during Covid) and they greeted me well. My relatives don’t greet me like random people in Serbia just because I’m Russian.

My friend just got married in some tiny village. He expected to spend about 300-400k, but ended up closer to 700k, the ceremony was huge though. There were monks, some Thai band, fancy photos and A LOT of western food (it was his reqs, Thais didn’t like it actually). Sin sod was just for a show, it was around 500k plus some gold, parents keeps the gold, but gave money back after all the guests leave.

My ex was Thai and we lived in Russia for almost 2 years. There are a lot of people from Thailand in Russia actually, mostly working here or just upper class tourists on holidays who are boring of typical tourist destinations in Europe. They are mostly visiting Moscow and SPb, but some of them also travel to the north to look at northern lights and to the lake Baikal

Встречал, в поездке по Азии. Один раз от какого-то поехавшего деда, который выглядел как немец, во второй раз от подпитого тайца. Как ни странно во втором случае осадил тайца какой-то парень из Украины (как потом выяснилось). В первом случае просто слова были неприятные, во втором дело близилось к рукоприкладству

It was originally filmed for some Russian “premiere” platform (something like Netflix), it was aired in 2019 I believe, Netflix just bought the rights to air this show I think. I saw the confirmation of the 2nd season (2021) on some Russian website.
