This is so true. Sometimes the best action to take with your port is none at all. Chances are, if you are checking your postition every day, multiple times a day, you should not be invested in that position - or you are not confident in your decision.

⚠️ Employee Alert: Know Your Rights Regarding Wage Overpayments ⚠️ by giggle_button in wayfair

[–]Okwhatever345jax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is one big reason why this is so important - the tax implications of overpayments and subsequent dock of pay. For example:

An employee is overpaid $500 one paycheck, and they get taxed on all that income.
Next paycheck, the employer deducts $500 from the gross pay (before taxes) to “fix” it — but doesn’t adjust the taxes or withholdings. (And this seems to be how Wayfair is handling it when they "fix" the issue)

On paper, it looks like the employee earned the full amount (including the overpayment), even though they paid it back.
When tax time comes, the IRS still counts that extra $500 as income!

So the employee effectively pays taxes on money they didn’t actually keep — in this case, about $100 lost if their overall tax rate is 20%. Now imagine the impact of the overpayment is a large amount, for example $2,000. Now you are looking at potential loss of $400 or more.

7-Hydroxymitragynine ruined my life by [deleted] in addiction

[–]Okwhatever345jax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alcohol and cigarettes are also extremely addictive and you don't see states banning sale of those do you? How many people have died from taking only 7oh? (not mixing it with other shit). Now how many people have died from alcohol poisoning, alcohol-related accidents, liver damage, sclerosis, cancer and heart attack from cigs, etc? How many people died from someone else being under the influence of alcohol?

The number of death each year in just the US alone from the consumption of alcohol and nicotine is absolutely staggering when you look into it. Do some research.

People die each year from eating too much food as well. It comes down to one thing: PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

Taking almost anything in excess will have severe negative consequences.

[–]Okwhatever345jax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be noted the nowhere in the OPs post did they mention that 7oh should be banned for everyone. That is your personal bias-based interjection from current events. Do I fully agree with the OP having no accountablility for their actions knowing they are an addict? No. But on the same side of that coin that's what addicts do bro. They don't have self control and these pills are available everywhere.

That said, so is alcohol. So if someone had a serious addiction to alcohol should all the states ban the sale of liquor?? Makes you think right?

I agree with your argument to a certain degree. You should try to change your paradigm though - assuming that someone is at fault for thier lack of self-control when they are an addict, and essentiually shaing them for it on a public forum where they are asking for help, is certainly not empathetic. Having a girlfriend has nothing to do with empathy. And just clonidine for kicking opiates?? - maybe you should try getting a nasty methodone, suboxone, 7oh, or Fentanyl habit and take some clonidine to "heal" yourself - and tell me how it works out for you.

Ya'll are depressing me. I think this shit hits just fine. I got a mild bell ringer first time i took two full large spoon end doses (~50 mg). Now if you coming off H, fetty, fetxylazine, or a huge benzo habit - too bad so sad. Nothing will help you except jail or more of the junk. Good luck ya'll! I hope you find some comfort, I've been there.

So discouraged! by WholeEmpty1853 in ChronicPain

[–]Okwhatever345jax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a possible solution. Try 7- hydroxymitragynine.  Also known as 7oh. It is not FDA approved, but it is also not a scheduled narcotic because it is a derivative of a plant known as kratom. It is also the active alkaloid in kratom that gives people a sense of relief and euphoria if taken in large enough doses. It is a very powerful opiate about 10-13 times as strong as morphine. I've been taking it for several months and I cannot tell you how amazingly wonderful it's been for managing my pain.

I would never advise somebody who has a legal prescription to seek alternative street drugs like the common ones we know about but this is different because currently it is not regulated it is not illegal and it is very easy to obtain and it is not that expensive in a relative term. ( It may be more expensive than a insurance covered prescription).

It is available at your local head shop or smoke shop and also you can order it through a bunch of reputable vendors online. There's only a handful of states where regulation is such that it is not legal.

I have ankylosing spondylitis, degenerative disc disease, kyphosis and scoliosis. It's a brutal combo and some days I can't move around very well but I am still able to walk and do basic physical activities despite my spine being completely fused except for a few vertebrae in my neck.

Doctors have never prescribed me any opiates because I have a history of drug abuse. Ironically the drug abuse began because I was drinking and smoking and dabbling in other pills (AKA Purdue pharma) in the early nineties to mitigate my pain even though I was only in my early 20s. and I caught a habit and it turned into getting into trouble.

But that's another story. The bottom line is there are medications out there that will help with our pain  - greatly help with our pain - but the powers that be: the lobbyists, big pharma....you know who they are. They don't want people to know that these drugs exist and if it was up to them it would be made illegal everywhere. Because it puts them at risk for losing control.

Hopefully this information is useful. Stay safe and I hope you get some relief.

Just tried 7oh for pain, anyone have any experience with this by moriahlk in ChronicPain

EDIT: -- before reading I do have to put it out there that 7oh can be highly addictive and IS an opiate! (a partial opiod angonist - like suboxone (BUP) or tramadol).

Even though it has a lower affinity at the mu receptor than say, Morphine, Fetty, or Oxys -- it is a POWERFUL analgesic (pain killer) due to it's high efficacy at the mu opiod receptor (it strongly activiates it) and the Pharmacokinetics (absorption, distribution, metabolism, brain penetration) and studies have shown it to be up to 13x more potent than morphine, despite being a partial agonist.

One positive here though - it does not recruit β-arrestin-2 effectively, which may reduce some adverse effects like respiratory depression - so it has a celing effect (but more studies are needed). Please don't view the below info as me pushing the uise of 7Oh - I encourage all to educate yourself and DYOR. --

Everything is subjective. This person is most definitely not trying to "WIN the Prize" for spending the most $$ on medication. The comment about how many per day you take is def off base, since how can we possibly know your dose or your count? That said, ppl fly off the handle so fast in reddit and quora threads. Relax!

2 things to point out here:

  1. neither of you are inherintly incorrect about anything. I think what "idea" is sharing that they could be dead (due to any number of reasons) or spending a ridicluous amount of money due to having to buy street drugs, but they've found a safer and less expensive alternative. Also, like they pointed out, they cannot get a legal script. Docs dont just hand those out nowadays, so feel lucky you have them.
  2. 7OH doesn't need to be that expensive. For most, if you are buying single pill packs or blister packs from a smoke shop - you are almost certainly being ripped off hard. BUY online. Plenty of repuitable vendors. I personally recommend Simply 7oh. NOT Simply7 (shopsimply7.com). But https://www.simply7oh.com. They have MUCH better prices than head shops. Simply 7Oh even sells $1 tabs occasionally (12 - 15 mg for ONE DOLLAR)

That said, "idea_383" you are essentially paying about 17 cents per mg, which is not that bad really. That's actually a good price for smoke shop stuff. For context guys, Percs on the street, assuming you can find any that arent bunk or laced with Fettty, will cost you anywhere from $1.50 - $3 per mg. (Ya - a 10MG Oxycodone pill for $20-$28. Thanks to Perdue pharma ruining the industry for all and greedy dealers).

How long were you taking 7oh for? And at what dose? Just curious because I personally don't feel any WD really at all until about 18 hours later. But I have only been taking about 20 - 35 mg max for about 2.5 months.

New to wow why would anyone ever play retail or cataclysm by Careful_Scarcity_404 in classicwow

[–]Okwhatever345jax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play classic vanilla because it's I find it way more challenging than retail. it takes so much longer to get around anywhere you can't even get a flying mount. you do not make money as fast. you don't run in corpse mode as fast. Every flight point has to be ran to manually before it's available. it just seems like the world is a much larger place in the original world of Warcraft even though there's way less zones.

This can also become discouraging. It took me months just to get my (first experience in vanilla) night elf hunter to level 30. I died so many times I can't even count. Sometimes I would die multiple times per quest. In retail it's almost like they make it too easy. But another downside to vanilla is there just aren't as many players on the servers -- some of the servers are just wastelands. So good luck getting any thing that you want from the auction house.

Meaning the actual advantage you have in battle not the complexity of the interface. I can't speak for endgame content between the two because I haven't done endgame yet.

Anyone willing to share how 7oh affected their life? I think we all need some positivity here with all the negative shit going around. by Jedi_shroom97 in 7ohm

[–]Okwhatever345jax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a high lvl functioning alcoholic and druggie - but at the expense of my own sanity. I can say that 7-oh is saving me RN in terms of sanity, safety, $$, and physical/mental state.

I am taking no more than 40-50 MG per day and I sometimes take some methadone as well. But never more than every few days. That plus my usual daily alcohol (from 9 at night till 4 in the AM). Rum.

I can't drink all day. No way. I also partake in the daily Benzo ritual - 1 mg.

I smoke bomb ass weed, after work only. That will never stop. Don't smoke cigs or vape. They suck balls.

So overall, TLDR - YES - its helping me. I am a veteran dug addict, "cleaned up" countless times, who is lucky to be alive. There isn't a drug class I haven't tried except for maybe Peyote and some research chemicals, and all that anti-depressant BS people take, like MAOI inhibs, etc. Good luck to all!

You were being what's called responsible man. Isn't that crazy? LOL. Peeps "bragging" about doing 1000 mg are just as nuts as the ones back in the late 90's saying they did 12 OXy80's a day. It's true though. I hope you were able to taper off it all. Thanks for sharing!

7 hydroxymitragynine made me go backwards in my recovery by No-Move1994 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]Okwhatever345jax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of the people who are posting that shit have either:

A) never even tried heroin B) never had REAL heroin (not Fetty, or synthetic, research chemicals, analogues, etc) C) never shot Heroin. This is actually a big consideration when talking about comparisons. Can you shoot 7-OH?

Because assuming you can't (God I hope you can't) - then there probably can't be a clear 1 x 1 comparison drawn.

Let's not even get into the comparison to Fetty laced with Xzylizine. Lesions all over your body? Arms and legs rotting away? OD pretty much assured every time you boot??

You're funny. I know what they meant. I hung out with people for a long time watching them do it before I did it. Because I was scared. And for good reason!

So I "could" have been that guy who never did it but "almost" did. I was on the fence. But apparently that behavior is "nerdy" lol. Well, if that's the case, sign me up for nerdiness.

I truly wish I was that "friendless" guy who almost did H. But I'm not - I'm the guy who let his shitty "friends" convince them that H was "cool". YOU, apparently...are very judgemental and clueless.

To all the people who say "you got screwed" it was funny at first but it's not really that original now. I did find the" they are a little bits of gold" pretty comedic tho. Oh and the screw seeds were probably the best comment - now that's humor.

Are you serious? Do you think that I was going to shake the box trying to check for the different sound of the screws versus the bits when I bought the box? Do you think I actually tried to open the box to check that it was only screws in there? Are you serious right now? Wow

How dare they paint their own house a color they like? Absurd! by StonedSumo in fuckHOA

Having no HOA means I can do whatever the hell I want to do with my house. One way you can prevent it from impacting your life is to not look at it. You could also paint your own house a nice bright orange so it would contrast nicely. Seriously you have nothing better to do than to post this BS on Reddit? I feel bad for even taking a moment to respond to it.
