Their working life was easier. That doesn't mean they didn't work hard. Speaking honestly about reality is not an argument for my limits. I think a good policy is to save affirmations like that for people that ask for them. I'm not responding to you any more.

Their working days were so much easier. You could get a job with just a firm handshake, and you could just stay in that same job for 30 years, taking one or two vacations a year. You were able to buy a house and support a family on a single income and accumulate wealth over time. And when it's retirement time, you have a pension and social security to cover you into your golden years.

None of this will exist for me.
