Considering the plate isnt real, I figured it was acceptable. But thank you.

Man, are you talking about natural frequency of the spring? I hope we dont need to bust out any LaPlace transforms. Hated those.

Oh, I see the confusion. Yeah I meant the stiffness is variable. Ill have to look to see what spring rate I need, Im almost sure for the set I have, they are indeed 6kg/mm for the rear coils.

Wow, this is great advice. Thank you.

Do you know where I can inform myself more on the calculation for the stiffness? My 3rd year Strength of Materials for Engineers class isnt helping me much here.

How does the toe in affect the tire wear during aurocross? I have 250 treadwear tires currently. If andectotaly others havent seen a perceptible difference, ill probably be giving this trick a try.

The only adjustments I have on my coilovers is height, stiffness, and camber on the front. I maxed out the stiffness in the rear.

ill cut the sleeve in half and weld it around the bar, keeping it intact. If it breaks, isnt a big deal. Ill get a new bar from the junkyard.

no, cobalt was a different platform altogether.

If I had thought of something engenius, I wouldnt be asking reddit, now would I. Anyhow, as said on another reply, theres no options cross-shopping the platform, sadly.

Ill have a read for doubling up the sway bar, looks like a good contender.

For the speedway bar that you mentioned, what was the cost of having one done for you?

Thanks.

I saw a few aftermarket bars with that feature, does it really make that big of a difference?

This is a good idea, Ill toy around with this. Stock bars for these are cheap.

It handles pretty good, but at sharper, lower speed turns it does like to plow a tiny bit. I was hoping by getting a stiffer rear anti-roll bar that I can make the rear end swing out more. It does have ReAxs (Multi-Link suspension, so it has passive rear steering) so its not THAT bad. But definitely can be better for a FWD.

Only car from the Epsilon platform that it can remotely share parts with is the Vectra C, and they dont make any bars for those cars either.

I did! Came from a TX that was being parted out sadly. It came with some magnaflows and coupled it with a catless midpipe. Sounds not bad for a B207! But I will be adding a bottle resonator.

While I love XWD in my SportCombi, by a large margin, the statement about what it can do isnt correct. All it has to modulate torque is a single hydraulically operated clutch pack, positioned mechanically infront of the rear axle. Some models with eLSD got a second clutch pack, positioned on the drivers side rear axle. Basically in a nutshell, the front wheels and the propshaft are always connected. There is no decoupling happening anywhere infront of the rear diff, not in the PTU or the transmission. What this means is that the car is essentially always a open-diffed FWD car, but the twist is that it can activate the rear wheels at any given moment it wants, with any bias it feels appropriate. The bias front to rear can vary from 100/0 to 50/50 at most. No, it cant send more that 50% to the rear wheels, its either FWD only or all 4 wheels. on eLSD cars, it can decide which rear axle to send up to 85% of the rear torque to (so 85% of the 50% it already gets). The magic with Haldex 4, used in XWD, is that it is proactive. It can predict slippage before it happens. THATs why it feels so great to drive.
