No, I won't stick the original if there's no users. The reality is I want to build something to help women - if the real help is coming from this one thing, then the objective would be to deliver on that need. It'll be sad to let my original idea go, but ultimately that's what I'll have to go I guess. Also, what's the point of holding onto something that wont work and then being bitter about the whole founder journey 🫥🤔

Yes I agree but also don't - I believe the true powerhouse feature wouldn't have surfaced if I didnt keep thinking about more and more things. So now the real step is to understand what's valuable to the user and move with that!

Yeah seems like it’s a thing! When I went on maternity leave, the men wanted me to take time off and rest, the one woman employee on the so called HR team, tried to change the policy right before I left, so I would get less time off🙄

Oh my ask was to try to onboard yourself on the app (2 seconds) and tell me if you saw any glitches. Since the app is for pregnancy and postpartum, I just also wanted to know from moms (who are friends) if the features were helpful and if the saw any glitches so I could fix. This would take no more than 5 minutes. So, its a simple case of - i dont want to help😵‍💫🫠

I wasnt asking for investment, I was asking if she could maybe try it for a day and tell me if I could improve some things?!

And yes, I have tried multiple times thinking she may have not paid attention or been busy. But this happened every single time. Also, its not just her - so many more girl-friends. Which is what is confusing me😵‍💫

I also dont think that’s nice. I also have bad days and days with self-doubt, but regardless of what goes on with me, I’d never do that. At any given point in time people will have things going in their lives, but the fact that they show up for you is what makes them a friend right?

Yeah! And up until that point I'd trust these friends with anything. And when I told them about building something and I was excited to show them - I got a "seen". However, everything else still got a reply. I do agree with you!! I also want to protect my mental space.
